Someday, will the ideas from Imagine Mars become a reality with a real Mars Community?

How many people do imagine mars? How many people are needed to change the world`s idea of a martian community; and how many would be needed to make NASA make a base on mars or just a trip?

Once we can settle on Mars, what type of community would be established? Would there be a need for currency? What type of economy would be made? What would be the political structure? How would religion come into the society; would only one, or none, be allowed? Would we be dependent on Earth for supplies, or would we have a greenhouse to sustain ourselves?

Please respond... Is it possible to select volunteers from various age groups an from various parts of the world(or will it be just america n russia n partnering nations) NOW and train them as to how to set up a community on mars??
