At what point in the future is there going to be a mission to mars to collect core samples?
If you dug a hole down into the surface of Mars, would the temperature be warmer than the surface or colder? If it was warmer, would it be viable as a location for a habitat for future human explorers?
Did Mars lose it's atmosphere because it doesn't have a spinning core or a liquid core?
Mars has an iron core right? and Earth has a nickel core does this difference have any bearing on Mars' lack of atmosphere? and does this create a different magnetic field?
Do the orbiters have any instruments that can map out the underground features and core of Mars?
Does Mars have a core and a mantle like those of Earth? How have differences in the two planets' internal structures shaped their history?
