Do you think necessary to keep intact a geological formation in a possible terraforming of Mars? What would be the chosen one?
Is there any type of geologic activity on Mars today-- seismic, plate tectonics, hot spot volcanoes, etc?
I'm fascinated with PIA16025: "Rocket Thrusters Expose Bedrock." It seems the thrusters worked like a leaf blower, or duster tool. Was this effect anticipated as an experiment with scientific value?
